CASE this Art

Good evening crafters!

Tonight I wanted to make a CAS card for our team training tomorrow night. I used the lovely colour combo from Pals Paper Arts  and this weeks Case This Sketch beautiful layout. 

 

The rose on the sketch immediately made me think of the Originals Spiral Flower, which I have fallen in love with! It always gets the wow factor (with very little effort involved.... sssshhh!)

Although tempted to go down the Valentine route (as the pink colours shout LOVE!) I wanted to do something different as Valentines cards have consumed a lot of my time recently!

So here is what I came up with

I was pleased with how the negative sponging technique came out using both Blushing Bride and Rose Red ink. I also have a lovely sponged lattice I can use on another card!
